Here are some photos from Saturday, September 6 as Hanna passed through our swell window. These are taken at the Washout on Folly Beach. Its a heavy beach break when there is swell in the water and there is a local crew who surf the wave very well. It is also, for some reason, the magnet for novice surfers who are eager to "surf the hurricane." Here is some advice for all of those novices heading out for a surf.....if you are "charging it" in cut-off Gap Khakis, then you should probably paddle out at 8th block.
